PERIL
A fire erupted in the premises of a prominent food processing company just before the companies busiest time of year. The fire, stemming from a faulty equipment near the roof, inflicted severe damage, including the collapse of the roof over two vital production lines.
Despite the large amount of damage, moving the business was not an option. The processing lines needed to be fully functional before the busy season to avoid losing customers to other suppliers.

THE CHALLENGE
The production lines were over 30 years old, mostly built and designed in house lacking any mechanical drawings. No specifications were available other than customer line rates. Both lines had to be reverse engineered.
Access to the building and equipment were limited. Prior to structural restoration, all damaged equipment needed to be removed from the building.
The restoration timeline to get both processing line back into production was 6 weeks.
